I dyed my hair dark blonde just recently(professionally) and when I went to school they suddenly told me that hair colouring isn't allowed anymore! Now my damn teacher wants me to dye it back to my natural black hair!

So my plan is that I'm gonna buy a temporary dark brown dye. So after I do it... Will my permanent, original hair dye(the dark blonde) show again if the temporary one washes off??? Or how will that work. And can you recommend some temporary dye I should use that will wash off fast?!!! =/

since your hair is naturally black after using a temporary one your hair will most likely go back to the darker colour and not the blonde, and if u dye it again too soon afterwards the hair wont properly take on the colour and it will go an orangey colour. so what you'll have to do is temporarily dye it a lightish or darker brown. and after its completely come out (most take from 8 washes to about 2 weeks) you should get the hairdresser to do it again or get some light blonde streaks or highlights. i did this to my dark brown hair and even though your not dying all your hair, all your hair appears alot lighter and it will look very natural. hope that helps =] good luck

ummm well, first thats a stupid rule. and if you buy a temporary one it will be temporary. but the perm is so strong and so permanent that there will be some left. but it will be a mix of dark brown and dirty blonde so yea mostly brown tho. well, why would you want a temporary one if its not allowed it will still be school and u'll still have perm in ur hair. so, i reccommend some product from loreal or garnier. but, i HIGHLY RECCOMMEND that just for ur education u dye ur hair PERM black or ur natural hair color....i hope this helps you ive dyed many peoples hair and theyve all been satisfied so this is coming from a professional.

and it washed out to my died light blonde so..

oh, this isn't good :/ you shouldnt dye your hair twice in a row so fast, it will fry your hair out and you'll look like a crazy woman :/ trust me, I've seen it happen.

but it seem you are in a pinch, so I sugest you find a mild dye- go to a beauty sulpy store, they have employes that really know what they are talking about and they can help you pick a temparary dye that will cause the least amount of damage on your hair :)

after that, MAKE SURE you use moistuizing shampoo on your hair, and make sure its a fairaly good brand- i sugest pantean, tressem'e, or john frieda, they arn't took expencive and it will help keep your hair from damaging, since I bet you dont like frizzles or split ends :)

Ummm...unless your hair is an unnatural color like pink or green, I don't know how your teacher can tell you that. It's none of the school's business whether or not you choose to dye your hair lighter or darker than your natural shade. This makes me angry and I would complain if I were you.

By the way, temporary colors have different levels and say on the box when they will wash out (how many shampoos it takes). If the color that you originally used was a permanent color (it must be if you went lighter), then yes, this is the color that should show through when the temporary washes out, not your natural color.

ok thats wierd..anyways i think its really stupid that ur teacher whant u to dye your hair back to its original colour u should just tell him to f*** him self and go chuck a nut or to tell him that u cant dye it back or else ur hair will get damaged and if he still is bitching at u to dye ur hair back just tell him to shut the f*** up lol sorry for the language hehe :)

I agree with the others - talk to your parents first because hair dying should not be disallowed. It's not something that will harm you or the school. But if you do have to do that after all, just condition your hair really good for a few days (don't blow dry it) and color it back to the normal color. Don't use a temporary color - use a permanent one - it will be less harmful on your hair in the long run. And after you do this, condition it again very well for a few weeks. Your hair will end up getting very dry and break off if you don't (due to split ends). Get some coconut oil to put in it also - Sally's Beauty Supply has it in a container (solid form). Works really well as an added conditioner.

they dont have any buisness telling you what you can and cannot do to your body and hair unless it is harming u and thats not so just tell them there is no ******* way, because that is sooooooooo wrong because it's ur choice and wats the worst they can do to you, suspend you, then u get to sleep in and spend time at home, and if they suspend you get a lawyer-- unless it says something about no hair dying in the hand book, then you should probably dye it back bc u will get in huge trouble.

Your original hair dye will show if you wash it off enough. You can go tell them that if you dye your hair permenently again, within two weeks, it will thin out your hair and damage it. Ask them if in a little more than two weeks if you can dye it back so it won't hurt your hair.
