How does hair look when it has been scrunched?

because i want to scrunch my hair..... because i have naturally thick, very wavy hair (about 2-3 inches past my shoulders) that wont straighten so i am gonna scrunch it...... how do i do that? and a method that doesnt involve blowdrying please!! and show me what the scrunched hair will look like (pics)?? yeah or other styles that might look good on my hair....

Here's how I scrunch my hair:

- I wash and condition my hair with Pantene Pro-V curl define

- I put Garnier Fructis or Herbal Essences Curl define mousse in my hair.

- Starting from roots to ends, literally scrunch your hair in your hands.

-Spray with hair spray for longer lasting curls/waves.

well my hair is the exact same way very think and wavy and it tales for ever to dry so when i want to scrunch is i get my hair way not dripping wet but little bit and then just get some curling gel and like use a bunch and and just scrunch it up and im sure it will work because they way you discribed your hair im pretty sure it will work!!!

this is what to do. buy an attachment call a difuser for your hair dryer. it cost about five dollars at sally. after you condition your hair...towel blot...rub in protective cream or spray, rub in your styling cream...towel blot the hair again to take out some of that moisture. ...place dryer on medium heat...use the diffuser buy pussing up the hair. dont touch the hair meanwhile the curls are seeting in. continue doing that this will give hair hair nice bounce. to dry and lift your hair at the scalp...place the diffuse still on medium heat on your scalp area turn and lift, turn and lift. do this section at a time. dont do it fast like your in a race. just until that section is 80 percent dry. then rub a pea size of bed after party (i call it the pink stuff, because the bottle is pink) into yoru hand like lotion and rub it starting from your forehead to the end of the hair. this will allow the hair not to be frizzy. walla
