My two dogs, together, have every color hair, so there's no disguising it. Are there any special covers I can get for the seats that look great and don't show any dog hair or is there some dog hair remover that really works (I also have problems keeping it off my clothing!)?

Everything i own i spray with static guard and this helps to repel the hair of my cats and dog. To make sure the hair does not get down in the bend of the seat get a blanket that can fold up and be used on it and shaken and washed regularly.

My husband and I both ride the busses in our city regularly, and we've both noticed that you can ALWAYS TELL the people who have cats or dogs because there's always at least one strand of 'pet hair' on their clothing. they must be shedding. you should get one of the shedding hair removal pet brushes. i listed a website below where you can get one online. you can also go to a nearby pet store and ask for one or where you can get one. otherwise, you can just get plastic seat covers and after your dogs get off, just vaccum the hair up with a small vaccum. as for your clothing, go to one of the websites i listed (or a general store), and they sell sticky lint rollers that remove dust, hair, lint, etc. from your clothes.

I agree with go spurs. Dogs shed. Period the end. If you find it difficult to live with and its disgusting then maybe these dogs need another home where someone can better handle it. Just get a vacuum or lint roller and frequent your car. Regular grooming of the dogs could cut down on the shedding as well.

There are several solutions here:

1. Take out the rugs in the car every so often and vaccuum them.

2. Use masking tape to get hair out.

3. Pet sponges for scrubbing seats work great. To find one, just google "pet sponges."

4. Just put a towel or sheet over the seat--wash/shake/vaccuum it often to keep it clean.

5. Buy a lint brush--these work well for clothes and seats AND rugs.

6. For rugs, brush them with a regular hairbrush.

7. Put on rubber gloves, dip your hand in water, and rub the seat--it works REALLY well!

8. Get a seat cover...

I just use a blanket. Why pay so much more for a "Pet Seat Cover" when that works just as well. You'll have lots of colors and paterns to choose from, too!

Your two friends are covered with fur %26amp; it is constantly falling out %26amp; regrowing. So you have to find some way to deal with it.

You can take them to a groomer %26amp; have them shaved for the summer. A couple of clips in warm weather helps them as well as not having the hair to loose. One now %26amp; another one in late August or September.

Try buying some pet shampoo,conditioner,and something to trim its fur. Do the washing at least once a week and use the trimming supply when you think it is needed. Don't over do these though, your dogs might get sick.
